With training camp right around the corner Scout.com has teamed up with WhatIfSports.com to simulate the entire 2006 NFL season. From the regular season to playoffs to your 2006 NFL statistical leaders we have you covered. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Projections for the 2006 NFL season are created by WhatIfSports.com’s award-winning simulation engine. The engine uses every team and individual statistic available, from a running back’s average yards-per-carry, to a team’s third-and-short tendencies, to a breakdown of historical player improvement from year-to-year, to determine the outcome of every play. Each NFL game on the schedule was simulated 50 times and average stats and scores were used to come up with the most likely outcomes for the 2006 season. Don't forget to check back later this week when we conclude our simulation with the playoffs and Superbowl. We will also provide an in-depth box score and play-by-play for each playoff game.
